“All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well”
— Julian of Norwich

I am a neurodivergent Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, National Certified Counselor, and Qualified Professional in Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare, with over ten years of experience as a direct care staff and mentor serving pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I am passionate about holistic wellness, and as such, a special focus of mine has been to empower healing and resilience for helping professionals who experience burnout, as this directly impacts client care. I strive to foster personal and professional communities in which diversity is affirmed and can thrive. I believe that, for my part, this requires a life-long commitment to learning, self-reflection, accountability, and advocacy.

My background as an artist, professional backpacker, and experiential learner underscores my eclectic style. I deeply value creativity and encourage self-expression through a variety of mediums in therapy. I derive immense joy from being outside and facilitating restorative encounters with Nature, as co-therapist. I bring a level of curiosity and enthusiasm well-befitting a “neurospicy” professional. I understand from experience that, just as different brains need different approaches to learning, it is critical that we diversify methods in therapy to meet the needs of each unique client.

My approach is holistic, and I employ integrative theoretical frameworks/modalities through sessions incorporating; mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, acceptance and commitment, experiential psychoeducation, somatic, art, narrative, ecotherapy, etc. I utilize methods including; walk-n’-talk, grounding exercises, guided imagery, transpersonal dreamwork, metaphors, re-storying, expressive arts, family sculpting, and the empty chair. I foster intra/inter-personal growth by honoring and bolstering the integration of all aspects of being into a whole Self via parts work, Jungian Persona/Shadow work, and the Enneagram.

My style is fundamentally relational and collaborative, allowing each individual to inform the development of goals toward wellbeing. I believe that one of the most valuable contributors to an effective therapeutic outcome is the rapport between client and therapist. I focus on building authentic relationship through attunement and immediacy to here-and-now experiences. I am committed to cultural humility and honoring the dignity of all, devoting particular attention and respect for diverse and intersectional identities. I strive to cultivate a brave space for clients to receive affirming and empowering care.

Be well.
