The journey of finding a therapist can be vulnerable. It is tender to entrust another person with your lived experiences and inner process. In my work as a therapist, I welcome your openness with compassion and curiosity. Therapy provides an opportunity to delve into the experiences, relationships, and systems that have shaped your life and sense of self. I will sit with you as we explore the patterns and beliefs you wish to carry forward in your life as well as those you want to leave behind or shift. My goal as a therapist is to collaborate with you in cultivating a liberatory space where all parts of you may be witnessed and tended. In this space, you are invited to say anything and everything. My hope is that, over time, this process will empower you to feel closer to your values; help you find greater self-compassion, self-insight, and healing; and support deepened security in your relationships, needs, identity, and desires.

My practice is informed by past work with survivors of intimate partner and gender-based violence, and clients with complex trauma histories. I have worked with those exploring and tending to attachment wounds; navigating harmful relationship dynamics; and moving through the grief, dysregulation, and disconnection that can stem from trauma and oppression. I may be a good fit for you if you are wanting relief from the impacts of complex trauma, domestic violence and partnership challenges, religious and spiritual trauma, attachment wounding, chronic illness and medical trauma, and erotic marginalization.

My approach is grounded in a psychodynamic framework and integrates tenets of many other therapeutic modalities including parts work, polyvagal theory, attachment theory, somatic work, and acceptance and commitment therapy–but, ultimately, my approach to therapy is unique to you and your experience. If you have felt any resonance while reading, I invite you to reach out.
