The journey of finding a therapist can be vulnerable. It is tender to entrust another person with your lived experiences and inner process. In my work as a therapist, I welcome your openness with compassion and curiosity. Therapy provides an opportunity to delve into the experiences, relationships, and systems that have shaped your life and sense of self. I will walk alongside you as we explore the patterns and beliefs you wish to bring forward with you as well as those you want to leave behind or shift. My goal as a therapist is to collaborate in cultivating a liberatory space where all the parts and pieces of you may be witnessed and nurtured. My hope is that, over time, this process will empower you to feel closer to your values, help you find greater self-compassion and healing, and support deepened security in your connections, needs, and desires.

My practice is informed by past work with survivors of intimate partner violence and clients with complex trauma histories. I have worked with clients exploring and tending to attachment wounds; navigating harmful relationship dynamics; and moving through the grief, dysregulation, and disconnection that can stem from trauma and oppression. I may be a good fit for you if you are wanting relief from the impacts of complex trauma, domestic violence and partnership challenges, religious and spiritual trauma, attachment wounding, chronic illness and medical trauma, and/or wanting to explore sexuality and identity.

My approach integrates tenets of many therapeutic modalities including polyvagal theory, attachment theory, somatic work, parts work, psychoeducation, and acceptance and commitment therapy–but, ultimately, my approach to therapy is unique to you and your experience. If you have felt any resonance while reading, I invite you to reach out.
