Scheduling and Fees

I have very limited availability in my private practice at the moment.

I keep a small practice so that I may provide the best possible service for my clients and typically don't offer a wait-list because I find that most people who are seeking therapy are wanting to get started ASAP.

I do have availability to see clients at an outside location where I offer sessions between 8-2 on Tuesdays through Epione Clinic for Integrated Healing. Insurance is not accepted at this location and my fee is the same as the out of pocket fee for my private practice ($150/hour). The website for this office has not yet been updated, but you can still use the online scheduling system to book an appointment with me by clicking here and scrolling to my name to select a provider. The address is 19 Zillicoa St., unit 3 in the Montford neighborhood of Asheville. Parking in the back of the building where the entrance to the elevator is located.

Click here to send me an email request for a referral to another provider. It's helpful to know if you need to use insurance (and what type) as well as a basic description of what led you to seek counseling at this time.

Current clients may click here to schedule online.

Insurance

I am contracted as a provider with Blue Cross & Blue Shield (BCBS) of North Carolina, but not with any other insurance companies at this time. This means that most BCBS plans will cover my services as long as I am providing treatment for what BCBS considers a "medically necessary" mental health diagnosis.

It is always helpful to contact your insurance company directly for details regarding your specific policy. Some important questions to consider may include:

Does my policy cover outpatient mental health services?

What will I need to pay out-of-pocket?

And - if you do not have BCBS, but would like to receive my services - Does my plan allow for reimbursement with out-of-network providers?

Some insurance policies may reimburse you for visits with out-of-network providers. I can offer you the necessary paperwork that you would send in to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Occasionally I can offer a significantly reduced rate for members of Open Path Collective.

I have no openings on Open Path at this time, but will update this site when the opportunity becomes available. I highly recommend exploring their site to find another provider with openings.
